In 2024, we finally see the world slowly gaining its original momentum; Kamakura Geographic will make yet another stride in challenging traditional concepts. We present “ART COLLECTION”

Kamakura, Shonan, and the Miura Peninsula are blessed with their natural surroundings and are just the right distance from the chaos of Tokyo. It is home to many artists, each searching for their original creative. However, making a living through art and achieving a self-sufficient career is, without a doubt, a challenge. Kamakura Geographic presents a new project to spread art into this world and hopes to achieve new heights along with the artists.

What is Art? Kamakura Geographic believes Art is a reflection of our mind in the material. While our mind is invisible on its own, by projecting it, we can observe them. In a sense, this is the magic of Art. Nowadays, we are often misled and do not appreciate the true value of things. Breaking out of this mindset is yet another obstacle we need to overcome.
While artificial intelligence is used in many fields, even in the field of art, we have made a conscious decision to see the proper form of art without the interference of AI to value creativity within us humans. This is not to say that AI isn’t a valuable tool. However, we believe that AI is far from achieving the standard of our creativity.

We would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to Mr.Yoshio Hayakawa, whose family has been kind enough to kick-start our project with his famous designs. We believe this is a strong message to all artists around the globe to encourage their pursuit of creativity. We are grateful to be a part of this movement to seek value in the non-materialistic world of imagination.

There’s no simple word or phrase to express Yoshio Hayakawa's life. However, we know for certain that his talent has taken the Showa world by storm, and his legacy lives to this day.

To this day, he’s a leading figure in the world of promotional design, and we hope his unique ways of expressing emotions will inspire many who wish to make a living from art.
